The Artilink500B is a 2-in-1 OBDII Scanner and Battery Tester. It includes complete OBDII functionalities, able to check engine light(CEL) codes and clear them. It shows live PCM data to identify which parameter is wrong.     First scan tool ever bought

    The tool does everything as advertised. It's the first scan tool I've ever owned and works great. So far, has saved me about $1000 dollars on diagnosing an intermittent fault on my Hummer's O2 sensor. Also, early warning on battery condition and capacity. In Arizona, heat destroys batteries and you won't know when it's nearing the end of life. 5 Stars!!

    Simplicity held by hand.

    A well thought out but inexpensive ( not cheap) piece of equipment. Took care of the diagnostic needs for my 2013 Taurus.

    All in one battery tester!

    Screen backlight and speed of tool is great. Huge upgrade from my just expired battery tester. Best value with dual use tester, OBD, data display, etc. I can’t say enough except it needs to be advertised better. I’ve never seen a battery tester with all these functions and at this price point. This is my first Topdon tool but I suspect I’ll be back for more.

    Exceeded My Expectations

    This AL500B is my first scanner, to go along with my new Ram 1500. I was not sure what to expect. I went with the reviews, and its moderate price. First impressions, this device is solid. I'm sure if I were to swing it at somebody they would have to dive for cover. First use; tis simple. Just plug it in, and it turns on, turn the vehicle's key to accessory and everything starts to happen like magic.

    I just finished upgrading the software. No instructions I could find, but after jumping thru many many hoops the code was cracked. I was in.

    Lastly I wish this came with the light installed in the under-dash connector. Tis dark down there and the once upon a time built in light would have been nice.
